On the Science and Religion

Science can only deal with the matter that can be physically measured. Scientific theories in particular field are just sets of hypothesis which statements about certain thing are deduced and then tested by observation. If the observation contradicts with the statement, then the hypothesis is rejected. If the hypothesis survives the efforts to falsify it, it may be tentatively accepted.

Nobody disagrees with the benefits of science, but many people have the wrong understanding with what science able to prove. Science can deal very good with everything that can be measured, from the tiny quark to the great pyramid. But beyond that, it can't. It can't measure, the meaning of live, nor can measure the love you have toward your son and family. These kind of things can't be measured by the basic units such as meter, second, gram, degree, etc. But they do exist!! Don't be fooled by the science.

Then how people deals with the meaning of the life? There comes philosophy and religion. Dealing with religion, there are 3 types of people: atheist, deist, and theist. For people that want to be free, they simply choose to be an atheist or a deist. For them, those people that believe in any deities are weak-hearted.

Whatever you choose, make sure you have considered it wisely and through your life in this world. You should be wise enough to know your own ability. To claim that God does not exist is simply too naive and ridiculous. Stephen Hawking itself is uncertain about whether God exists or not. Albert Einstein made a beautiful statement about himself and God. He claimed that he only knew 2% of the universe knowledge. Then followed by his question. "What if the knowledge of God existed in the other 98%" Real scientists know their limitation.
They are humble enough to admit that they don't know whether God exists or not.

Only one of these statement can be true.
1. God does not exists
2. God does exist, but does not interfere with how it runs
3. God creates and rules the human. Either monotheistic God or polytheistic God, but can't be both.

If you don't know what is true. Try to find the answer for the rest of your life.If God doesn't exist or doesn't care, well you choose your own destiny. But if God does exist and rule, hmmm... you should know who is the real God, and you should follow the rules that God sets as you follow the rule of your government.

The religion has nothing to do with your intelligent. You are really a fool if you say because you are "scientific" enough, then those ppl that believe in deities are fooled or deliberately choosed to be deceived. In fact, it is rarely a physical scientist is a atheist. Freeman Dyson, a Princeton faculty member, has said, "Nature has been kinder to us than we had any right to expect."
